Why this site exists

CompareYourPropFirm was started by an active trader with six years of trading experience — mostly futures, and occasionally CFDs on gold and silver.

Over those years the prop firm market exploded. Today there are dozens of firms, each with several account types, different drawdown rules, monthly or one-time fees, activation fees — and discount codes that change every week. Finding out who actually has the best deal for your way of trading has become a puzzle.

This site is the tool we wanted for ourselves: every firm, every account type and every market side by side, with the real price after today's discount.

How we collect and check the data

• Straight from the source. Prices, rules and account sizes come from each firm's official website. Where we used another source, the page says so.
• Checked continuously. We use automated tools to spot changes on firm websites and their official X accounts — new account types, price changes, new or expired codes.
• Reviewed by a trader. Automation finds changes; a human with real prop firm experience decides what goes live. We'd rather show "see site" than a guess.
• Honest about red flags. We show when Trustpilot removed a firm's rating for fake reviews, when a regulator issued a warning, and which firms closed.

Currently tracking 48 firms and 164 account types across futures, forex & CFD, crypto and stocks.

Spotted a mistake?

Prop firms change fast. Every firm page has a "See something wrong? Report it" button — firms and traders are welcome to send corrections.

How we make money

Some links are affiliate links: if you buy through them we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. Firms cannot pay for a better position — firms without an affiliate deal are listed exactly the same way, and we never bid on firm brand names in paid search.
